Our Story
If you're a Filipino professional, you know how this story goes.
Gising ka ng maaga, trabaho buong araw, and by the time you get home, there's barely enough energy left for the people who matter most.
Taking care of yourself? That keeps getting pushed to the back of the priority list. Sa dami ng kailangan gawin and roles sa buhay — you tell yourself
you'll start eating better, exercising more, getting enough sleep — once things slow down. But they
never really do.
I lived that life too.
Both of my parents were doctors specializing in Integrative Medicine. They spent their careers helping people manage disease. But even with all of that around me, I wasn't taking care of myself. I was busy, distracted, and convinced I'd get to it eventually. Business at trabaho muna. That was me.
Then they got sick, and I lost them — my father in 2019, my mother in 2024. I was there through every hospital confinement, every difficult moment, and I was by their side when they each
passed.
Losing them changed me. Not overnight, but deeply.
It made me realize that health isn't about popping vitamins, or eating a salad.
It's about being present for the people you love. Having the energy to enjoy life, to give yourself and your loved ones the best version of you.
I decided it was time to actually take care of myself.
So I started learning — reading, watching, podcasts, experimenting, trying diets, and overhauling
my lifestyle. The more I looked online, the more confused I became. A lot of conflicting advice.
Lahat may promise na effective basta sunod ka lang sa "one size fits all" diet nila. Other programs are oversimplified or hyped. I wanted to get healthy, but I found myself seeing food
as "good" or "bad" instead of enjoying it.
I needed real answers — not more noise.
That's when I found Precision Nutrition, home of the world's top health and nutrition coaches.
Coaches of coaches that train Olympic athletes, NBA teams, NFL players, Nike, and professionals from around the world. I didn't just read about it — I studied it, got certified with them, and kept going. I now specialize in Change Psychology, Metabolic Health, and Nutrition for Athletes.
Learning the value of proper movement and exercise, I next studied and became a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), a globally trusted standard in exercise as preventive healthcare and personal training. You can also find me listed in the international listing of the US Registry of Exercise Professionals.
The more I learned, the more freedom and confidence I felt again. No more food anxiety. No more confusion. Just clear, small shifts that actually work — and that I actually enjoy.
That's what I want for you too.
I founded Live Young because I believe Filipinos deserve access to honest, evidence-based coaching for fitness and lifestyle goals. Many of us fall for quick fixes, fad diets, and health myths — not because we're gullible, but because trustworthy guidance is harder to find. I want to make world-class coaching more available for our country, and Pinoys around the world.
I want to help you look, feel, and perform your best. Not through rigid or extreme restrictions — but through small, doable shifts that fit your real life.
Live Young exists because your family deserves to keep you around longer — for you to be present, and give your loved ones the best version of you.
